Did you know? It IS possible to find the perfect ceiling fan to elevate your space! When we moved to Texas, I quickly learned that ceiling fans were a must-have in our home, and have been on the hunt to find the perfect fan for each space… even the back porch!
I used to be anti-ceiling fans all the way because I was NOT a fan of the way they looked, but with a little convincing from my husband, I started to realize they may not be so bad after all. Now, I use modern, chic, and design-oriented ceiling fans to enhance the style of a room!
Ceiling Fans With Lights
Lighted fans are the perfect option for bedrooms, interior spaces, or rooms that may not receive much natural light. I was able to find the perfect lighted ceiling fan for my daughter’s bedroom, and love that the fan has the same neutral and vintage feel as the rest of the space! For this particular fan, I didn’t love the blade color in person, so I painted it cream to match her ceiling and let it blend in a little more!
My Favorite Ceiling Fans with Lights:
Non-Lighted Fans
Non-lighted fans are my go-to for outdoor spaces! Whether it be a balcony or porch, you will be thanking yourself during those hot summer months when you’re able to turn your ceiling fan on high! I prefer not to use lighted fans outdoors, because often when we use those spaces the sun is out, and I don’t want any crawling critters attracted to the light when the sun starts to go down. My Favorite Non-Lighted Fans:
Fandeliers
Fandeliers are a hot topic in the eyes of some people, you either love them or you hate them. Personally, I love them if you’re able to find the perfect spot for your fandelier to shine! I added one to our home office space, because I knew that a “regular” lighted ceiling fan would throw off the entire style of the room. I wanted a statement light but also one that provided a little air for a small room.
