I love the colors of your nursey. I’m using the same ones for MY bedroom. What color brown (?) are the walls? I had my walls painted but the color is just not right.
Hi Belinda! I love that you are using these colors for your room, so fun! The wall color is called ‘Java’ by Valspar at Lowes. In some lights it is more gray and in others it is more brown. Thanks for stopping by :)
I’m not sure where to comment, but I wanted to enter the Doodlegraphics giveaway. My favorite print is the yellow “YOU ARE MY SUNSHINE”. I sing that to my daughter everyday.
Also, I am currently following you on facebook. I love your blog and found some great nursery ideas, so thanks!!
You may not know me, I was s freshman when you were a senior in high school but I love your stuff! Anyways, I really want to create a beverage bucket and had a few questions and thought I’d ask you. I started looking and just thought I’d purchase a personalized one online however I want to use a really fun font and the ones they offer are very boring. I was jut thinking I would do it myself… is there a paint that is best for a metal bucket that wont necessarily chip? Also, would I just use a stencil to paint it on?
Hello! I looove your nursery colors. I’m accenting mine with orange also. I’ve been looking for those exact trees and birds on etsy. Do you remember the name of the decal? Thank you
Hello Taryn. I love what you did for Baby E’s 1st birthday. I am going to attempt making the wreath this weekend. What size wreath did you use? Thank you for your help and keep up the creative masterpieces.
Thanks again
Megan
Hi!
I would like to know how to make the marshmallow pop that you made for Baby E first birthday party. I loved everything you did for her first birthday.
Hey there-did you ever get my email for the cutting edge prize? i sent it to you but then got another email so I wasnt sure if you got it? thank you again
I also wanted to thank you on your blog about blogging. I am a virgin blogger and I put blogs that I love (buttons) on my blog page- I do not know if that is the correct thing to do -I see some people charge for a sponsor spot- I just want to have a easy way that people who enjoy my blog can enjoy other blogs that I love.
does that make sense??
Taryn,
Just wanted to say I love your blog. Such cute ideas! I can’t wait to try some of the yummy foods. Was wondering if you have ever tried Jules gluten free flour? My dad can’t have gluten and raves about the stuff over all of the others. They are a great company who you can also reach out to if you need a conversion on a favorite recipe. Congrats on your success! Have a great week!

I just want to let you know how fabulous you are! I absolutely love your style…I have never really been into the blog scene and some of my joys are looking thru your ideas and all of your party link blogs in the evening with a glass of wine! People like you keep me sane! Thank you!!
Hi Taryn, congrats on your new boy. Can’t believe he’s been here nearly three weeks already. Wanted to let you know, I scored a free magazine last week, something called “All You.” Never heard of it but opened it up and there was your DIY sphere! Good for you! Restyled my bookshelves recently ( they were looking so dull & old school)& the sphere would fit right in.
Gonna try the zucchini muffins too. Great time to go to the fruit stands and pick up ingredients.

I am making the Christmas Burlap pillows I saw on Pinterest. I have all peices cut, the design painted on the front piece of the pillow, the backs cut out and pressed, the trim folded, pressed and sewn together but I cannot for anything figure out HOW to place the trim to have the raw edges sandwiched between front and back pillow pieces. Thank you, for the wonderful pillow idea, please let me know if you can help me.
Hello Taryn,
I have been getting your emails for awhile, and recently you mentioned about a name change . It has bothered me for a few days, what a good distraction. Have you thought about a naming contest for your readers ? How about : Taryn in 3 D. It connects the original blog / site name as well as connecting to a new direction . Just wondering …
Thanks for sharing your thoughts Janis! I love your creative approach, what a fun title. But I am pretty set on keeping it Taryn Whiteaker as we move forward :)
