I just revealed our kitchen remodel about a month ago and I am so excited to be able to decorate it for Christmas for the first time! Our previous kitchen didn’t leave a lot of space to add holiday decor, so this was extra fun having a brand new space to play with.
I’m joining a group of 50+ other bloggers this week as we all share Christmas tours, if you are coming from Life is Better At Home, welcome! I love seeing all these gorgeous and unique holiday spaces.
Christmas In The Kitchen
With the kitchen so clean and black and white I wanted to keep the decor pretty minimalistic and add just a few pops of color and festive touches.
I was unpacking our Christmas decor and found all our holiday blankets and started laying them over the chairs to basically just survey what I had. The funny thing is, I started to really like the look of the eclectic arrangement of blankets, it added such a fun pop of color and made the space feel cozy. So I kept them!
Subtle Touches of Christmas
These DIY Grid Ornaments were one of the first Christmas projects I shared this year. You can find the tutorial here.
Some simple greens a little wreaths instantly help this space feel a little more like winter.
Fresh Greens
I picked up these stems at the craft store, but you could probably find real ones for free in your backyard : )
Growing up, I used to perform in The Nutcracker and every year my parents would give me a new Nutcracker for my collection. I decided to bring a few of my favorites out and display them!
Wreaths On Kitchen Cabinets
I made these wreaths a few years back and it’s fun to bring them back out! Just a little simple touch to make everything feel more like Christmas. You can find the tutorial here.
Kitchen Shelf Styling
I really loved having shelves to decorate in the kitchen this year! I was able to add so many cute Christmas pieces have collected over the years but don’t always have a place for!
I found these two little wooden signs in the Target Dollar Spot this week and had to pick them up!
These are my very favorite amber bottles from Anko, they are just $2 each and I love love them!
Minimalistic Christmas Decor
