Girl Room Sneak Peek: New Lighting

Thanks For Sharing!

Disclosure: This post is in partnership with Del Mar Fans. All opinions are 100% my own.

I’m just inches away from revealing Miss E’s big girl room and I cannot wait. I’ve been making the final tweaks to the room and one of the last things on my list was to switch out the light fixtures. All of the rooms in our home came with the standard builder grade light fixtures and I wanted something that added character and really pulled each room together.

Before Light Fixtures

Here is what this space looked like before. You can see the basic ceiling light. I also wanted to add a reading light to the reading nook because it does get dark over there at night.

And here is what it looks like now! I went with this feminine White Beaded Chandelier. It adds such a beautiful look to the room and really pulls together the whimsical look I wanted for my little girl’s room.

White Beaded Chandelier With Edison bulb

I am loving the look of beaded chandeliers and this one is the perfect size for a bedroom. It was a little smaller in person than I expected, but I wouldn’t want it any bigger for this space.

This chandelier was actually pretty easy to install. It took my dad and I a little over an hour to put it all together and we just followed the included directions. Anyone can do it!

The chandelier also comes with a chain which allows you to customize the height. I kept our shorter given the height of our ceilings.

I love this sweet reading nook in her room. The problem is, at night when we do most of our reading that corners gets really dim. The addition of this Arm Swing Floor Lamp was the perfect mix between style and function. It comes in several different finishes, but the aged silver looks so good in her room.

Reading Light

I might just need this light in every bedroom! I really love the look. This light took about 5 minutes to put together and it is super sturdy!

Hi! Our paint color is a custom mixture that our builder created, I don’t know the exact number of the formula. I will let you know if I find out.

That’s gorgeous! I don’t have any girly spaces. Lol… My studio is the closest and it’s black/white/aqua, which I love, but you know… Something a little more feminine would occasionally be nice. Thanks so much for sharing your progress! Can’t wait to see the reveal!
