We’ve got a little less than two weeks left of school. A little longer than I would like, but those snow days added up! We are enjoying the slow ease into summer as my son graduated from Pre-K at the end of May so now we are just waiting on my daughter to be done with her school! And then I have all three at home! Over the last month we have been slowly getting our house ready for summer with little bits of decor from here and there. Before we get too far into the season, here is my Summer Home Tour!
I’m also joining several other bloggers today and throughout the week as they share their home tours as well. If you are coming from Town and Country Living, welcome!
Summer Home Tour
Summer Porch Decor
I’ve shared a few different peeks at our porch this year. From our spring porch with classic boxwood trees and most recently my tips on putting together summer planters. I love getting our entry way ready for summer with a fresh look as we welcome guests throughout the warm months.
Layering rugs has become one of my favorite things to do out here! I love the look and our space is exactly a 5X7 so most rugs fit perfectly out here. This rug has been one of my most clicked through products this year! I love it and it’s a really great deal for an outdoor rug. Only $70 at Target!
Summer Entry Way
I like to keep our entry way simple so it doesn’t feel too cluttered. Just a simple palm leaves is all it takes to make this space feel welcoming and like summer!
We’ve had this same general look for almost 4 years in here, so I’m getting read to change things up and try something new. But who knows, maybe the grass won’t be greener and I’ll go back to this. Those mirrors are just so fun!
Kitchen Summer Decor
I like to do a new tablescape about every month! You can take a look at all of my tablescape designs here. Anyway, this was my summer look I shot last month. I liked bringing navy into our home and some beach elements like the drift wood and greenery. You an see a more detailed look of the table here.
In the kitchen, I kept it simple with lots of leaves and simple glass bottles. I honestly cannot believe how long these fresh leaves have lasted in our home!
Simple, pretty look that you can recreate for any room in your home, or even a centerpiece idea for outdoor or wedding!
And lastly, here is the seasonal shiplap wall! I made this large Tropical Print for you to download, so take a peek!
Oh! And I’ll be sharing a full tour of our outdoor patio dressed up for summer next week, but here is a peek! I made these modern mason jars and shared the tutorial for them last week. Check it out!
