There is a little spot in our kitchen that has NEVER felt right. I have tried so many different displays over the years from a shiplap wall, to the most recent one below. But I just keep over thinking it! I wanted to give it a new look for summer and work on the portions a little bit so I partnered with Joss & Main to spruce it up with a more organic modern vignette display.

I love this softer look. I feel like it fits the style of our kitchen a little better.

This was a fun look, but the prints were actually a little too contemporary for me. I wanted to add some more rustic touches and make it feel a little softer and more organic.
Large Rustic Lamp
I started by taking everything down and searching for the perfect pieces in here. I knew I wanted a big lamp that had a rustic finish on it. I found this antique inspired table lamp and it is absolutely perfect! I love the oversized look, the texture on the base. It is actually a way better color in person than it appears online. There is a lot more rust in the picture and in person it is more neutral.
I honestly think this is my fav new piece I’ve gotten in a long time! You can find more lighting options on the Joss & Main site!
Layering Artwork
Next, I needed to find some new artwork for in here! I love layering artwork and mixing patterns, it creates the look of an art gallery that is custom to your personal style. I went with this modern branch print and paired it with a country landscape style print. I wanted to keep it organic without going too far into the farmhouse style. It look some searching but I was so happy when I found these pieces together.
Decorative Accessories
I have a small obsession with decorative accessories that have a real organic look. I love being able to move them around the house as I work on different spaces. This bowl has a great texture to it and it actually made out of latex, making it much harder for the kids to break!
