Last week, I shared our summer home tour but I still have one space left to show! This time last year we updated our outdoor living space with all new furniture, so this year it was time to try something new and add a few pops of color. I know, color? Not a word you hear me say too often but I added just a touch to makes this space feel like summer with some Modern Coastal Outdoor Decor.

Welcome to our tropical oasis! Last year everything was so fresh and clean and all brand new that I kept it simple. But this year I wanted to give it more of a summer feel. I picked up this set of tropical pillow covers on Amazon for a ridiculous price and I was so impressed with them. It was an easy way to give this space a new look and big pop!
We love spending time in this space during the warmer months. It’s always the place that people flock to during gatherings and it’s my favorite spot to sit after the kids go to bed.
Summer Outdoor Entertaining
I love to entertain, especially during the summer. Just last weekend we had people over and majority of the time everyone sat right out here. So it’s always one of my first places to get cleaned up for summer time!
This year I tried something a little different out here and hung artwork on the privacy screen. I thought it needed little something extra. It’s different, a little modern and asymmetrical and I kinda like it. It just brings a little warmth to the space. What do you think?
And when the kids are asking for a snack for the millionth time this summer, I hope to be sitting right here enjoying a book and nice weather ;)
