Luxurious Black and White Bedroom Design

I love designing new spaces! Even though we have most of the rooms accounted for in our current house, that doesn’t mean I stop there. I’m constantly dreaming and designing and thinking about the “what if’s”. So when Juliette’s Interiors asked me to design a space around one of their gorgeous chaise lounges, I jumped at the opportunity.

I picked this Modern Velvet Upholstered Chaise Lounge as the inspiration for this luxurious black and white bedroom design. I feel in love with the sleek and classy lines, it is such a great mix of modern materials with a feminine shape.

This bedroom design is a pretty true representation of my personal style. It has my love for clean modern lines combined with lots of texture, and a few pops of traditional elements to keep it comfortable and classy. I’m a huge fan of poster beds, especially in rooms with tall ceilings. They make for a great statement piece and help carry your eye up to the top of the ceiling, In this case, I love how the white bed with white walls makes for the perfect backdrop for that chaise to really pop.

For the rest of the room, I added functional pieces like the white dresser with a pair of Modern Silver Glass Black Table Lamps, all the way down to fun details like these amazing tuft poufs. I am a sucker for anything tufted and these little footstools are so perfect. They can really go with so many different styles. And I of course had to add a cute little coffee station, because who doesn’t love waking up to a hot cup of coffee in bed?
