Black and White Master Bedroom Updates + Giveaway

Thanks For Sharing!

This post was created in partnership with Snapfish. All opinions are my own.

I can’t believe it’s been over six months since I shared an update on our master bedroom! I took a little break on it over the holidays and then went full force into finishing our family room and worked on a few other spaces, but now I’m back on track (at least for a little bit). Over the last few months I’ve been working on some updates that really bring our personal style into the space! I think I’ve made some major progress. Ready to see how our Black and White Master Bedroom is coming together?
Black and White Prints Above BedEeek! It’s such an amazing feeling to finally see my vision come together!

Charcoal Gray Nailhead Headboard from @wayfairIf you’ve forgotten where I left off, here is the last update I shared with you. We finally got a headboard and new bedding back in November. I absolutely love our headboard and comforter but the overall look was still lacking my personal style. When starting a room from scratch it’s hard for me to put something together ‘over night’, I tend to make new design decisions as each piece is added. Everything is always a work in progress!

Black and White Master Bedroom with Wood accentsWith just a few minor decor changes, I’m finally seeing my rustic modern style come to life. I added additional pillows with more patterns and textures, new white curtains, a live edge bench and gorgeous black and white prints that I took and had printed on wood at Snapfish!

Charcoal Gray Tufted Headboard with black and white accentsI think adding the prints above the bed was really key in bringing the space together and adding dimension to the room.

Rustic Black and White Prints printed on Wood by SnapFish

Whenever I bring new artwork into our home, I try and make it personal. Whether or not it’s apparent, I want every piece to have meaning to my family. Moving into this house was a huge dream come true for us, it was something we had dreamt of for years and I never want to forget how hard we worked for it.

For these prints, I decided to walk down to the river by our house and capture a few abstract shots of a place that has become really special to our family. The river is just a 5 minute walk from our doorstep and we are there almost every day. There is an old wooden bridge that we walk over to get to the beach and I love looking at all the character it has developed over the years. The entire setting is so peaceful and beautiful and whenever we are there I feel like we escape from everything else. It’s our little spot. And I cannot believe it’s right in our backyard!

Wood PrintsI am so happy with how the prints turned out! If you haven’t heard about the new Snapfish Home Decor site, it’s full of amazing products to help turn your photos into artwork and accessories for your home. They have tons of fun products to choose from like aluminum prints, framed canvas prints and wood prints (what I chose). I am really impressed with the quality of the final product. It’s hard to tell in the picture but the prints have a glossy finish and look so professional.

The great part about the new Snapfish site, you can use photos from any device! I shot these with my DSLR and turned them into black and white, but you can also upload photos directly from your phone or even your Instagram.

ALL of my walls need help. Almost all of them are still blank waiting for some awesomeness. My first spot would definitely be my upstairs hallway.

We have a built in shelf that winds around our walls in our master bedroom. It was one of the things that sold me on the house and I was so excited to decorate with it and now that we live here I have been unable to figure out anything that I am happy with! Maybe some fun artwork from Snapfish would help freshen things up!

Hello! I am currently in the process of remodeling my bedroom (also, a black and white room) to match the rest of my industrial farmhouse theme of the house. I was wondering where you got the bench?? I have been looking and comparing prices but I am having a hard time finding one with legs like yours. Thanks!
