It’s my first fall tablescape of the year and I’m so excited! Since it’s only mid-september and many of you are still experiencing weather in the 90’s and throwing swim parties, I thought I’d easy our way into the season with an early fall tablescape. One that still has some pops of color and doesn’t scream ‘Thanksgiving’. It’s good to take things slow sometimes.
I’m joining several bloggers today to share brand new fall table designs! You won’t want to miss out, so be sure to keep scrolling through the end of the post.
Plum Fall Table Decor

In general, I am really loving the deep earth tones this fall. Plum seems to be my go-to accent color this year which is honestly a little surprising for me. But I am actually really digging it. In fact when people ask if I ever use color, I say yes, but it has to been an earth tone. It still seems neutral to me in a way.

Black and White Fall Table

I used my standard black and white base and added in deep eggplant/plum, whichever you see fit and deep green magnolia leaves. I added a few rustic twigs for some natural texture.

I wanted to add a little bit of an eclectic look to this table so I mixed and matched the black and white plates with these gold leafed plates I made a few years back.
Pumpkin Soup Bowls

To give the tale a little bit more of a fall vibe and tie all the metallics together, I added these adorable pumpkin soup bowls I got last year. They are SO cute!

Set The Ambiance

I’m a big fan of candles in the fall, well year round. I feel like every table needs candles to some degree. Whether it’s setting the mood for a cozy fall table or lighting candles in the summer to help keep those conversations going into the evenings. Candles just make the table glow.

My point is, if you are wondering what your table is missing. Just add candles.
