I’m not sure if you caught a peek at our Shiplap Display wall in our Fall Home Tour yesterday, but I gave it a big update this weekend! Last spring, I crated this gallery wall on our shiplap display, and included the free botanical printables for all of you! Since I typically can’t let anything go unchanged for over 6 months, I thought it was time to update it with a more modern look for fall. I think this Rustic Black and White Gallery Wall is little more ‘me’ anyway.
I knew I wanted to do a more modern black and white gallery wall using a mixture of abstract art and black and white photography. SO I set out on a hunt to find some free and inexpensive printables. I always try and see what is already out there before I create my own, and this time I found everything I needed on Etsy and a few other blogs (scroll for a full list of links). I think I spent a total of $25 on all the prints and had them printed at Staples. This guy was my absolute favorite find and I wanted him to be the center of the display. I was able to download him for free over at Okie Home for FREE. Then I played around with adding a variety of other black and white photos and a mixture of abstract art. I love how it turned out, it’s exactly the look I wanted and it will be perfect for the next few seasons… I hope! I also gave our little vintage bottle rack a little update and switched out the more farmhouse plates and cups with some copper Moscow mule mugs. It definitely gives it a completely different look.

This turned out so good, Taryn! I love that you did all black and white photos. I’ve wanted to add some photos on my TV wall in our family room and was thinking black and white but wasn’t sure if it would be too much in my neutral living room. You’ve convinced me. I love it!

Thank you so much Amanda! Yes, do it! Yours will turn out beautifully!
