Modern Rustic Console Display

Thanks For Sharing!

This post is in partnership with Arhaus Furniture.

It’s time for another look into our family room! Last week I shared the first big peek into our modern rustic space and today you are getting a look at my very favorite piece in our room. This Carpenter’s Bench Console Table has got to be one of the most unique and amazing pieces I have ever laid eyes on. It’s perfect.

Modern Rustic Console Table DisplayOur TV sits above our mantel, yet I still wanted a console table to decorate and hold remotes and have a place to set the odds and ends that end up in this room. This piece is so gorgeous and I cannot rave about it enough. It’s hands down my favorite piece in this room. It’s sturdy, well made and the rustic touches are perfect.

The ONLY problem, is that it’s no longer on the Arhaus site :( But they do have a desk that is really similar. A little birdie also told me that if enough people ask for it, it MIGHT make a return. So speak up!

Carpenter's Bench Console Table - Love this! The whole room is about mixing old with the new. Mixing rustic pieces with more modern, black and white accents. You can see more of this with our white sofa and classic black recliner.

Black and White Picture GalleryI reused several of the Tyography Prints that I created a while back. I wanted to keep the personal, family ones in the room we spend the most time in. (You an download several of them for free here)

Carpenter's Bench Console Table - Love this rustic pieceWhat I love most about this table is that it’s built to be a functional carpenter’s table. There are two operating wood-working clamps that still spin and clamp. Super cool.

Modern rustic console displayThis room is turning out to be one of my favorite spaces I’ve ever worked on. It’s a true mix of everything I love, old, new, rustic, modern, and industrial. I didn’t think it was possible to put all of those things together in once space but it’s actually all coming together.

Vintage Lottery Ball Decor

I spent a lot of time finding the perfect accessories to place on the console table and I fell in love with these (reproduced) vintage lottery balls. They are so unique and I love their coloring.

Totally LOVE this. It inspires me to get things rearranged here and get my new furniture in from the garage!

I have my dad’s old workbench and it looks just like this! His was built out of old bridge timbers. I’ve put it to good use in the garage but love the idea of repurposing it someday …

Amazing console. Really disappointed that it’s not available anymore. You did a great job styling it as well.

I also really like the basket on the bottom shelf. Do you know where that came from?

Hey Kim! Thank you so much for your note! I bought the bottom basket at my local Fred Meyer (a Kroger Store). They have a great basket selection and they are almost always on sale.

Love it! Your family room is so cozy and rustic! We have a real carpenter’s table that was left here with the house. I never thought to put it inside, but with a little cleaning, it would look awesome! Thanks for the inspiration!

Wow, Taryn. That is such a beautiful rustic table and I love how it has the workings to be a carpenters table! Arhaus has gorgeous furniture, although I have only browsed there! I love how you’ve decorated the table, too and the b/w colors in the room!

Hi! Thank you for your note. Unfortunately we moved into the house with the wall color as-is. Our builder created a special color for this house and I don’t know the formula. So sorry!
