It’s time for a mini tour of our fall decor this year! I can honestly say that our house was decked out in fall decor earlier than ever before. I still have a few spaces that I haven’t shared yet, but I wanted to pop in and share a our Fall Home Tour Using Earth Tones. If you are coming from The DIY Mommy, welcome!
My goal for our fall decor this year was to not buy anything new! I have been trying to keep seasonal tours a little more simple and elegant over the years, and my goal was to not purchase anything else. After all my garage is filled with decor! The ONLY things I have bought so far this year are, a bunch of feathers from Amazon, 1 cable knit blanket and the mums for the porch.
Fall Home Tour Using Earth Tones
I feel like our home tour is a little short and sweet this year! We have quite a few spaces that are in the middle of makeovers and updates, so we kept fall decor to the minimum. Well, just all the main places like the porch, kitchen, mantel and our outdoor space that is coming soon! So this might feel more like a recap than a full on home tour.

This year I used my traditional neutrals, a lot of black, white and tans but also incorporated some pops of deep plum and red and a few metallic tones. I really love the rich earthy vibe of the jewel tones.
Fall Porch

I shared our fall porch reveal last week. I went back to the red mums for a little pop of color. And of course I can’t get away from all the white pumpkins!

Our entry way is still a little under construction but I managed to make these DIY Watercolor inspired vases and gave you a sneak peek of the progress. I just need to get the lighting installed!
Fall In The Kitchen

I just shared this space on the blog yesterday! I used a pretty purple flower mixed with branches for an early fall tablescape. I kept our kitchen simple and just used some wood elements and black and white.
You can get all the details on this modern fall table here!
Fall Mantel and Living Room

This room is still in progress as we wait to do the hardwoods and finish off the furniture but that didn’t stop me from adding a little fall in here! Just a few pumpkins and a plum and plaid throw to make it feel a little more seasonal.

I kept the decor simple in here with a bowl of white pumpkins and some cozy throws!

And then the big debate will happen, how do I arrange the furniture in here? My biggest debate since we’ve moved into this house!

I tried to do more of a minimalistic mantel this fall, but I still ended up decorating it quite a bit more than I planned. I just feel like the stone is so powerful that it needs more than just a few vases. I kept it as natural and organic as I could while using what I have. I went with neutral tone and pops of copper!

We are getting really close to finally putting in the hardwoods in this room and I hope to have it done before the end of the year! My goal is to have our Christmas tree on the new hardwoods!

i always love your neutrals with jewel tones- that tablescape is dreamy and love your entry!
I would have used more color on the mantle but i find too much brown overwhelming. Love the color on the table.
I so appreciate your feedback! It’s always fun to play around with decor and then see where you can make tweaks. A pop of plum would be really pretty in here.
Everything looks stunning! And I wished I lived closer so I could come enjoy a glass of wine on your patio! xoxo
oh yes please!
