DIY Halloween Magnets With Wait Til Your Father Gets Home

Thanks For Sharing!

Hey there Design, Dining, and Diapers readers! I’m Meredith from Wait Til Your Father Gets Home, a Craft Blog full of fun tutorials, delicious recipes, and easy activities to try out with your little ones. While Taryn is busy loving on her new little man, I’m going to fill in for today and share an easy Halloween craft, perfect to put out in your home or gift to a neighbor this month!

4

To make your own set, you’ll need just a few items:

glass vase filler bubble {clear glass with a flat back side}

pretty scrapbook paper

Mod Podge

small circular magnets

hot glue

1

Since the glass bubbles aren’t uniform in shape, I simply started cutting circular-like shapes out of my scrapbook paper. Once I felt like it fit behind the bubble, I applied a thin layer of Mod Podge to the flat side of the glass bubble.

2

Before the Mod Podge had too long to dry, I placed the scrapbook paper piece that I had already cut out onto the glass bubble {pretty side facing the bubble so that you’ll see it through the front}.

3

While those dry for a few minutes, heat up your hot glue gun. You’ll use a generous dab to secure the magnet to the back of each glass bubble.

5

And there you have it! The perfect addition to any refrigerator this Halloween. You could use the magnets to put last year’s Halloween pictures where everyone can see them!

If you enjoyed this craft, I’d love to have you stop by to say hello. You can also visit me on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, and my new fav, Instagram!
