Last weekend we hosted my husband’s family for Christmas and I wanted to share the table I put together for the gathering. All my Christmas decor this year has been black and white with subtle pops of red and green so that is what I stuck with! I created this simple Rustic Chic Christmas Table using a combination of black and white dishes mixed with greenery, pinecones and a pop of copper.
This look is really easy to recreate so let’s have a closer look!
Rustic Chic Christmas Table
When putting together tablescapes, it’s all about layering! I started with this natural table runner that I actually flipped over and used the backside since it was plain. And then added these basic woven round black placemats from Anko for a contrast.
Black and White Christmas Table Setting
I continue to layer with my fav off-white ceramic dinner plates that we use daily, and these more natural ceramic salad plates. I added a little rustic charm to the place setting with a black napkin, wood napkin ring, sprig of faux berries and my fav copper twig flatware.
The centerpiece took only about 5 minutes, I picked up a few pine branches from Michaels and then added a few more pinecones and some tapered candles for the centerpiece.
Woodsy Christmas Tablescape
Last year I went with a completely different look with soft creams and golds and a few pops of cranberry and the year before was another black and white table but more Scandinavian style.
