I tried to style our entry way for my spring house tour a few weeks ago. It didn’t turn out. While I always believe simple is better, especially when it comes to seasonal decor, this time it fell flat. So I deleted the pictures and didn’t include them in the post. But I was DETERMINED to get the look I was going for. This week I played around with my decor, snipped a few branches from our yard and finally got the modern spring entry decor I was hoping for.
Modern Spring Entry Decor
I really love this spot in our home. I love how the natural light comes in from the door way and shines so bright in here. It’s definitely the welcoming spot in our home that I won’t change for a long time.
Decorating With Spring Florals
When I was thinking about how I wanted to decorate our spring entry, I knew I wanted to cut down a few simple branches with pink florals. The true look of spring as the buds begin open up and fresh life arrives.
I remember thinking, “where can I cut some of these branches down?” and I began to brainstorm different friends who might have these trees in their yard. YOU GUYS, these came from MY yard. I had completely forgotten that we had a tree that gives off fresh pink flowers this time of year. BINGO. It really was easier than I thought.
Just days after I cut these down and put them in water they are now in full bloom. I’ll have to share a pic on IG for you. I can’t believe how much they have opened up.
Hope you have a wonder week, friends! We are counting down the days until spring break around here!

A lovely greeting in your entryway! I believe there must be a trait of ‘Vampire’ in my family history.
I’ve thought for some years now, that possibly, I’m the only woman who doesn’t like mirrors for decorating.
Your wooden piece is so interesting and certainly adds to the warmth of the room!
This is a first ~ seeing your post and projects.

Love this entry console. Where did you find it? I’m sure it’s a one of kind piece but would love to find something like this for my entryway.
