Anyone else feel like this winter felt longer than ever? It finally feels like spring and our house is slowly feeling like it too! I’ll admit, I JUST took the winter greens down around the kitchen and our Christmas decor was still up on our back patio until a few weeks ago. To me, spring isn’t necessarily about redecorating your home or even adding new things, it’s about a fresh start. It’s about decluttering and and bringing new life into your home. Today, I’m taking you on a little tour of some of my favorite spaces of our home and sharing some simple spring decor ideas with you.
If you are coming from Life is Better at Home , welcome! It’s fun to see so many different homes with beautiful ideas and in so many different styles.
Spring Decor Ideas
Breathing new life into our home for the spring often means bringing in fresh flowers and new plants. It’s something as simple as that. This year it’s all about the tulips.
For my seasonal shelves, I kept my winter shelf look but just removed the greenery. These sweet prints are from Ms. Craftberrybush and I love them so much I think I’ll keep them up year round!
Spring Mantel Decor
I shared our spring mantel last week . This will be the first full year decorating our mantel after the stone makeover project and it never gets old how good it feels to have this done.
Outdoor Living Space
And yes, I had this entire space still decorated for Christmas until March 1! I blame it on all the rain and my lack of motivation for working outside in the cold! Ha! So in case you feel behind, don’t worry, things are delayed around here too,
We are focusing on our big backyard project right now, so I kept all the same decor from last year and just changed a few accessories. I can’t wait to show you more of what we are working on outside this space!

We are adding a covered porch to the back of our house. How do you like the furniture you have on your porch? I don’t want to spend a fortune, but also worry that ‘you get what you pay for’ so I don’t want to have to purchase something new in just a few years. It looks like yours might be discontinued, but I’m still curious how it has held up, is it comfortable, etc.?

Your home looks so stylish yet so homey. It feels like a real house meant to be lived in. I love your fireplace and your stone mantel. I’m definitely keeping this style in mind for our house renovation project.
