Well, it’s that awkward time of year when the house feels bare after Christmas but I’m no where near ready for spring over here! We are in this little rainy, sometimes snowy phase that can often be hard to decorate for. I decided it was time to take down my Christmas printables in the kitchen and do some winter kitchen shelf styling.
Winter Kitchen Shelf Styling
I went with a very earthy organic look in here. I kept some dark greenery and then added these gorgeous moody prints. You can download them for free from Ms. CraftberryBush! Her work is incredible.
Styling Floating Shelves
This is our little coffee and tea station that I created in during our kitchen renovation. We took down the large cabinet here and replaced it with these floating shelves. I love being able to change them up throughout the year!
If you are curious, you can actually purchase these shelves pre-made! With or without the black detailing. They come in a couple of different lengths too!
Moody Artwork
For me, just switching out my printables makes the biggest difference. Instead of creating my own, I headed to the lovely Lucy from CraftberryBush and downloaded her gorgeous pomegranate and pear paintings.
I put them in my favorite black open frames that allow you to still see the tile behind. I also found these concrete pear and apple and love them! They are super heavy too.
Our scones were an awesome Amazon find! I think these were only around $35 for a set of TWO!
I did think about doing something for Valentine’s Day, but I decided this feels a little more like me right now :) Best part, it didn’t take much to switch these up from Christmas to winter. Just a few subtle touches to give it a new look.
