Who else is excited for the big game this weekend?!?! Being from Seattle, I am just a teeny tiny bit ECSTATIC for Sunday! I’ve starting planning some game day food and decor ideas and when it comes down to it, there is nothing better than a good pizza to go with a great football game! So here are a few Football Food Ideas using DiGiorno Rising Crust Pizzas.
I did a little trial run this weekend and tested out the new DiGiorno Rising Crust Pizzas! They were SUPER easy to make and my family and friends thought they were delicious. There are several different flavors to choose from and with just a few small tweaks I turned them into some serious game day treats.
I simply rearranged the pepperoni to make a football shape and then added thinly sliced mushrooms for the laces.
Then, I took a basic cheese pizza and added sliced pepper to make a goal post and then cut a pepperoni to look like a football going through. Just simple changes that make a fun game day food.
I paired the pizzas with a light salad and juicy watermelon.
This was a great trial run, but now I’m ready for the big game!
So save yourself long wait times of getting your pizza delivered and make your game day experience #BetterWithDiGiorno this Sunday!
Right now you can stock up on DiGiorno Pizzas with a “Buy 2, Get 1” coupon available for download on Coupons.com through February 2, 2014. DOWNLOAD IT HERE.
