DIY Modern Spring Wreath

Thanks For Sharing!

The sun is out, our porch has a fresh new look so that can only mean spring is right around the corner. There is something so refreshing about this time of year. I definitely have the spring bug around here, you know the one where you just want to purge everything, switch out the winter blues with a clean slate and start some new spring projects. I kicked off the season with our spring porch last week, and I wanted to give you a quick tutorial on how I made the DIY Modern Spring Wreath for our front door.

I love making wreaths but I also want something unique and a little different. This year I went with a mix of a modern wreath with classic elements to go with my front porch decor. White spring wreath finished off with black and white ribbon and a little boxwood! A great fresh look for spring!I have found the best pace to pick up fresh boxwood is Trader Joes! They seem to always have it when no one else does! A black and white striped bow and a little boxwood makes such a classic look for spring!

Give your wreaths a coat of white spray paint! I painted both sides since our door is glass and I wanted it to look nice from the inside too.

Then I glued the nailheads inside the holes to fill them and also give them a little edge! I connect the wreaths by using a staple gun and tied the boxwood in with a little floral wire.
Have you made your wreath yet for this year? Are you in simplicity, florals or something different? Create a fresh and unique look for your porch this spring! Learn how to make this DIY Modern Spring Wreath using items from the craft store and fresh boxwood!
