I hope all of my US readers had a wonderful Thanksgiving yesterday! If I wasn’t already, I am now in FULL Christmas mode and I am loving it! Today, I wanted to share some DIY Christmas Gift Tags I whipped up using my Silhouette Cameo.
I created these tags using my Silhouette Cameo along with some of the fun Goodies that Silhouette offers, including Chipboard Paper and Double Sided Adhesive (Glitter is included in the starter kit!).
I started my design by using a basic tag design and then adding my own text. I used the print and cut function, make sure to click ‘show registration marks’ to use this feature. So you’ll have to cut down your 12 X12 Chipboard so it can go through the printer.
Here are how my tags looks after printing and cutting them.
Then I added several different Christmas designs to my tags ( here are the designs I used, Stockings and Numbers, Ornaments and Tree, Deer and Chevron). Make sure when you cut out the designs, you ONLY have the designs set to cut or else you will be cutting out the tags again.
I ran my double-sided adhesive paper through the Silhouette with the white side up.
Then peel off the yellow side and stick the design to your projects, then peel off the white side and brush on your glitter!
