Easter may look a little different this year but we are still having fun adding a little decor here and there. And of course we will tune in online to watch Easter Service, but the question is, “should we still dress in Easter best?” Anyway, this week the kids and I decorated our kitchen shelves with a black and white Easter vignette. I’m also sharing the free printable I created for it too!
I’m partnering up with 15+ other bloggers as we all share new Easter projects for this year. So be sure to scroll down to see all of them.
Black and White Easter Vignette
I’m a neutral girl at heart so sometimes it makes decorating for holidays a little challenging because all the bright colors just don’t feel right. But I also want to take the opportunity to do these fun things for the kids.
Can we just talk about these shelves for a second? They were a last minute add on to our kitchen remodel, and not only do I LOVE how they turned out, but they have given me another great place to set up seasonal decor. They are so easy to change out.
I found these little wooden eggs at Michaels a few years ago and they have become some of my favorite pieces for Easter. They are essentially just wooden craft eggs but I chose to keep them in their raw form. I love how they are subtly festive.
Free Easter Printable
For this vignette, I created my own He Is Risen printable to put on display. You can download your own copy here.
Easter Bunny Garland
The kids and I made this DIY Bunny Garland using my Cricut Machine. They absolutely LOVE helping me with projects on the Cricut. They think it’s so cool, so I thought it would be fun to do this together. I cut them out in a variety of black and white cardstock and then strung them with black suede ribbon.
PS. If you don’t have a Cricut machine, I would definitely look into it, especially being at home with the kids so much and doing more homeschool activities. The possibilities are really endless. Amazon has had it on sale a lot this week!
