My goodness what a crazy week it has been! It feels a little odd to be talking about home decor, but on the other hand we are all spending a lot more time in our homes, so let’s make the most of it. Today I want to share with you our spring home tour. While we all enjoying the walls of our home a little more over the next few weeks, I want to show you some easy ways to add a few touches of spring to your home. A few simple things that will brighten your day.
I’m joining several bloggers as we all share our home tours with you throughout the week. If you are coming from ZDesign At Home , welcome! I hope you find some inspiration here.
Spring Home Tour
Spring is always about florals and greenery. It’s not time for full summer decor, but I’m ready to decorate the house a little more after the winter months.
Earlier this season I shared our spring entry way with a little DIY Spring Wreath. We have a more modern minimalistic entry way, and this was a fun way to add a little touch of sprig to the space.
Simple Spring Mantel Decor
I like to keep our mantel nice and simple over there. This time of year is a little hard for me to come up with decor, so it’s all about simple and greenery and still feeling cozy.
Spring In The Kitchen
As we move into the kitchen, I’ll share with you my simple spring dining table filled with navy and black with a little pop of color.
I tried to give you a better idea of how your dining and kitchen area connect to our outdoor living space. It’s all one big open area downstairs.
I love having a nice bold centerpiece on our kitchen island. I had this floral arrangement done by Sprig Flower Co. I love the pop of pinks it brings to the kithchen!
I added a few stems to the bottles on our open shelves for a few more pops. It doesn’t take much to add some spring touches to your home. Flowers make SUCH a difference!
OK, I don’t think I have ever seen this type of flower before but I am loving it. It’s SO pretty and unique. The color tones are so cool.
Outdoor Spring Decor
Moving outside, I added some spring decor to our outdoor living space. I wanted to spruce it up with lots of pillows and a new accent rug and some greenery!
Trying to stay focused on all the positives and finding joys in the little things. Now head over to Inspiration For Moms for more spring ideas!
