Hey there! I wanted to pop in and share some fun new decor inspiration as we approach the summer months. A family member recently reached out and asked if I could provide some ideas on how they could update their beach house. It’s always fun working on new design boards for new spaces, especially ones I don’t work in regularly. It gives me an opportunity to experiment with putting different pieces and styles together and have a little fun. Since many of you might have beach cabins or just love nautical decor based on your location, I thought I’d share this Modern Nautical Decor board.
Modern Nautical Decor
The design was based around a whale print that was already purchased (not pictured) and also keeping the existing furniture in the room. I think some of the older furniture we often see in cabin’s is actually so well made and timeless that if you update everything else around it, it can completely give it new life! A lot of the older pieces (like the ones pictured) can really tie well into the mid-mod design that is trending right now. So before you get rid of your vintage pieces, think again!
