DIY Concrete Christmas Ornaments

Each year, I have a tradition of making one new set of handmade ornaments for our Christmas tree. I love bringing them out each year knowing they were made with love for our family to enjoy. This year I had an idea of making DIY Concrete Christmas Ornaments. I haven’t seen these done before and I have never tried, so this was a total experiment! And…. I think they turned out pretty well!

Best part, you literally only need TWO things to make these, plus a little water!

DIY Concrete Christmas Ornaments

Learn how to make these DIY Faux Concrete Ornaments using Henry Feather Finish Concrete on top of plastic ball ornaments.

I love the texture of these ornaments. They are industrial yet chic and you’d never know they are completely hollow inside.

How To Make Concrete Ornaments

Supplies:

  • Henry Feather Finish Concrete
  • Plastic Ball Ornaments
  • Ribbon for embellishment ( I love this deer print ribbon!)

This process is SO simple. You mix the concrete powder with water. And stir until you get the consistency of peanut butter.

I simply used a spoon to gloop it on and swirl it around. Make sure to cover the entire plastic. Don’t worry about it perfect smooth, the roughness gives it character and texture.

I created this little drying rack while the concrete dried. You will need to let them dry overnight. The color will change and dry a lot lighter.

To top them off, I dipped a few of them in white paint to add a more modern element. You could also paint your own designs.

My goal with every room is to make it feel warm, i My goal with every room is to make it feel warm, inviting and extra cozy. It’s often the final finishing touches that truly transform the vibe of a room. I picked up some final styling pieces from @wayfair , I am obsessed with both side tables. They are both statement pieces. And the personal photos, candle, heart trays and leather pillows are why bring the warmth and personal touches into this space.

I finally found the perfect family and pet-friendl I finally found the perfect family and pet-friendly sofa that passes the designer test! This is the 5-Seat Modular Corner Sectional from @7thavenueco in the color Oatmeal Beige. We ordered it in the extra-deep seat option for ultimate coziness. The material is water-repellent, stain-resistant and you can also throw all covers in the wash!

We cannot say enough great things about this sofa, we all love it and just sink into it. It definitely passes the family test. Plus, it truly is gorgeous. It looks very chic.

Comment SOFA and I’ll send you the link to this exact one!
