Christmas In The Kitchen

Welcome back from the weekend! Anyone else have a busy but fun past few days soaking up all the holidays?! It’s time for the last week of our Christmas House Tours. So far I’ve shared our Front Porch, Outdoor Living Space, Family Room and now it’s time for Christmas in the Kitchen! Before I begin, have you been by Nina Hendrick yet? Nina’s dining area is one of my favorites!

Christmas In The KitchenOur kitchen is truly the heart of our home. We spend so much time in this space, from making meals, doing arts and craft projects at the island and making memories baking together. And I swear I am doing at least two loads of dishes a day. Since there always seems to be so much happening in this space, I really didn’t want to over do the Christmas decor in here. I wanted to keep it simple and festive.

Easy Christmas Center piece idea

I used a lot of black and white in here along with a little bit of greener.

Christmas In The Kitchen

This is our only table in the house. Our downstairs is one big open space (see more pics on IG), we don’t have a formal dining area so this is it. This is the table we use daily for meals and also use for formal meals.

Christmas In The Kitchen

Our island gets tons and tons of use every day. Our kids can be found sitting up here A LOT. And these days we have been embracing the holidays and making tons and tons of sugar cookies! My middle boy is obsessed with baking and we probably make a new batch every few days. I absolutely love it.

Christmas In The Kitchen

With all the baking we do, it’s necessary that we have a proper cookie jar on the counter. I found this personalized cookie jar last spring and I think it is just the cutest thing. It would make a really great gift for the holidays too (hint hint).

I’m not sure if I’ve ever shown this angle before, but our dining table heads right into our outdoor living space. Did you see it all dressed up for the holidays? You can see it here. Simple Winter Centerpiece

Thanks for hanging out in the heart of my home with me today! Now hop on over to Blesser House to see her beautiful table!

Hello! I just discovered your blog through the “styled and set holiday” blog hop. I wanted to ask where you purchased your table – it is beautiful and just our style. Thanks!

Hi! So glad you found me over here! The table was a custom project, I found the raw slab from a local guy and then hired someone to do a custom finish on it and then I put the legs on myself. It was wayyyyyy cheaper doing it this way!

Staircase reveal part one! SWIPE for the before an Staircase reveal part one! SWIPE for the before and to see all the details. This has been a major project over the course of the last 7 months, and it has been so exciting to see it all come together. My goal was to create an elegant and timeless look to our staircases, adding character with unique features of the railings, classic neutral runners with gold stair rods to complete the look and a moment for the large luxe chandelier that you can see from the courtyard. And of course a fresh look with smooth creamy walls.

But I’m not entirely done just yet! Part 2 will be coming in 2026!
