It’s my first Christmas mantel on the new fireplace makeover! It feels so good to be able to do something completely different this year. I have always loved the asymmetrical garland mantel look. I feels so fresh and organic, so I decided to try a more minimalistic approach to it this year. Let’s have a peek.

Asymmetrical Garland Mantel
Having an all white fireplace is much different than decorating a dark stone one. I felt like my options were always so limited because anything but light colors completely faded into the stone. This new looks feels so fresh.
Cedar Christmas Garland
I kept the holiday decor simple this year. I used some of my favorite pieces and brought out a few new finds. I found this faux cedar garland for a great price and I was really impressed with how realistic it looks. I even ordered more!
These wooden Scandinavian trees have been around for a few years and they are one of my favs to bring out every year. They are timeless! I love the silhouette so much.
German Schmear Stone Fireplace
Even though this mantel decor is more simple than I’ve ever done, it feels perfect for this year. Keeping life simple, focusing on the little things that matter the most and not over doing it.
