Shopping Guide: Inexpensive Industrial Decor

“Where do you shop for all your home decor?” Yes, this is one of the most common questions I get. The truth is, I shop at a lot of different places! But over the years I’ve learned how to shop efficiently, where to find the deals and how to find what I want. Since I get asked this question so often I thought I’d put together a quick shopping guide for finding Inexpensive Industrial Decor!

Best Places to Find Inexpensive Industrial Decor

Before I dive in, I’m going to let you all in on a little secret. I only shop when I NEED something. Now, ‘need’ can be interpreted differently for everyone, but I actually only go shopping for home decor when I’m working on a specific space and have a very specific idea of what I’m looking for. This saves me from wasting time and money!

The truth is, shopping actually stresses me out unless I know what I’m shopping for. Which means, I’m not someone who can go to thrift shopping weekly, or hit up garage sales every weekend or spend a day browsing home decor retailers just for fun. That completely overwhelms me (and who has time for that with two little kids?!). Which leads me to my next secret, I buy about 80% of my home decor online sitting on my couch.

With that said, here are my go-to places for buying Inexpensive Industrial Decor! There are so many more, but these are the first three on my list:

Industrial Decor at AmazonOh my, how I love Amazon. I’m obsessed actually. Amazon is hands down the first place I go to when I’m looking for ANYTHING. When you sign up for Amazon Prime, you get free shipping and guaranteed 2-day delivery. Can’t beat it, or their prices. When you are on Amazon, simply search “Industrial Decor” or “Rustic Decor” and your life will be changed.

Here are a few of my favorite finds as of late:  Stone Gear ($21) : Metal Ampersand ($19) : Large Industrial Fan Blade ($83) : Set of Industrial Candle Holders ($37) : Vintage Bath Sign ($11) : Green Ottoman ($83) :  Faucet Hooks ($29) : Barnwood Window ($16) : Cast Iron Keys ($8)

Dot & Bo Industrial Decor Items

My other favorite shopping hotspot is Dot & Bo. I absolutely love their style and all their pieces. You can snag some awesome deals on wall art and accessories. Here are some current favs on their site.

Metal Exit Sign ($22) : Vase Holder ($19) : Card Catalog Desk Organizer ($18) : Produce Aisle Clock ($69) : Wood Grain Waste Basket ($13) : Basket Storage on Wheels ($89) : Round Wall Rack ($59) : Wooden Die ($14) : Coffee Print ($28)

Target Industrial Decor

And of course you can’t go wrong with Target! I think most of us end us making impulse purchases whenever we go to Target, but one thing I think people often forget about is how much inventory they have online! They have way more home decor online than what’s in the store. Check out all my fun finds above.

Cage Light ($22) : Glass Tubes in Wooden Holder ($19) : Edison Uplight ($44) : Sand Filled Hour Glass ($24) : Wood Arrow ($4) : Metal Sphere ($14) : Modern Mason Jar ($7) : Miniature Ferris Wheel ($12) : Decorative Clock ($16)

Well, there are my first three picks for this shopping guide! Hope you all found some fun things you’ve been looking for! I know I ended up buying a few things while putting together this post. Yay for checking things off the ‘needs’ list :)

This is an awesome guide! I’ve always wondered where to find good deals on this stuff (some places are outrageously expensive) Thanks!

thanks for sharing your fav shop spots. I love to shop on line, even though we do have Target, tjmaxx and ross. I have found some great deals at Target. Love your black and white photos over bed from previous post.

My house is in the process of being decorated with industrial decor. I second the target and amazon notion. Never heard of Dot and Bo. I will have to check them out. I also really recommend antique shops. Usually they don’t know what to do with the industrial stuff they have on hand (think old tools, broken cages etc). They are usually tucked under things and way cheaper than the traditional antiques. We have nabbed a few things like and old meat grinder we turned into a bedside lamp, etc.

Unfortunately Dot & Bo has closed it’s doors, as of September 2016…any other suggestions?
