Shabby Chic- DIY Kids Bunny Costume

Thanks For Sharing!

Disclosure: This post is in partnership with Michaels Stores. I was chosen to be a Michaels Maker, all opinions are 100% my own.

Halloween is just around the corner! While it’s not a huge deal in our household, our kids still like to dress up and fill their bags with candy. Every year I let my daughter pick what she wants to be for Halloween, this year I she chose a bunny! Since she is the most girly girl I know, I decided to make her a Shabby Chic DIY Kids Bunny Costume full of pink, sparkle and lace!

Shabby Chic DIY Girls Bunny CostumeI headed to Michaels to see what I could find for her costume and it was a gold mine for everything girly! We had a blast picking everything out together. Michaels has great products and inspiration to help transform your yard, classroom or living room into a spooktacular space this year.

DIY kids bunny costumeIs she not the cutest bunny you have ever seen? Oh my, she melts my heart.

DIY girls bunny costumeLittle bunny foo foo…. ok anyway…this costume was pretty simple to put together. A little sewing was involved but you could also use hot glue if hand sewing isn’t your thing.

bling bunny costumeHer little fur cuffs were very simple to make. We simply cut the fur fabric, added velcro and then hand tacked on the bling ribbon.
