Organizing Measuring Cups and Spoons Inside A Kitchen Cabinet

I am queen of seeing projects on other blogs and thinking, “Oh my gosh, I HAVE to do that!” and then 2 years later it still isn’t done yet (story of my life). And Pinterest hasn’t made that any easier. But this time I finalllllllly did something I’ve wanted to do for a long time, I created a system for Organizing Measuring Cups and Spoons Inside A Kitchen Cabinet!

I first saw the idea on Infarrantly Creative, Beckie did a very cool version of this and I have wanted to do it ever since. I thought this would be the perfect time since we are in the middle of giving our teeny tiny kitchen a facelift and we need all of the organizing help we can get!

I followed Beckie’s tutorial of using the extra long paint sticks, they are free and they are the perfect size for fitting in the notch of the cabinet. The only change I made, was that I used wood glue to adhere them to the cabinet so they would fit flush inside the cabinet, versus screwing them onto the siding.

I used my Silhouette Cameo to cut out my vinyl labels. I used black vinyl and Arial Black font. In fact, Silhouette is having a huge sale on vinyl right now, you can get buy 1 get one free using the Code DIAPER and the link here.

My husband and I are so excited about this! It really helps to keep things organized and to make our measuring cups easily accessible.

Terrific! I’ve been planning to do the same project (saw it on Pinterest). I am always misplacing my measuring spoons and cups, so this would help me stay more organized! I love how you organized your spots for the spoons and cups.

Hi Cynthia! I got them at Macy’s several years ago, I just checked and it doesn’t look like they carry them anymore. Sorry!

Staircase reveal part one! SWIPE for the before an Staircase reveal part one! SWIPE for the before and to see all the details. This has been a major project over the course of the last 7 months, and it has been so exciting to see it all come together. My goal was to create an elegant and timeless look to our staircases, adding character with unique features of the railings, classic neutral runners with gold stair rods to complete the look and a moment for the large luxe chandelier that you can see from the courtyard. And of course a fresh look with smooth creamy walls.

But I’m not entirely done just yet! Part 2 will be coming in 2026!
