New Year New White Bedding

It’s time for a little refresh in our master bedroom! We have been slowwwwwly working to complete our master bedroom over the past few years and little by little it’s turning into the peaceful little getaway for my husband and I. With the fresh new year it only felt right to add some fresh new white bedding to this space! I’ve always been a sucker for white linens so let’s see how much they freshened up this space!

New White Bedding

We had a heavy gray twill comforter in here before. It was great, but I wanted something a little brighter and felt fresh for the new year. I headed to my local Tuesday Morning and browsed through alll their bedding options. I was super surprised at how many gorgeous comforters and sheet sets they had for every bed size at super reasonable prices.

I headed there not knowing exactly what I would find but had a pretty good idea of what I was looking for. I was really excited when I found this beautiful white duvet and sham set and these gorgeous taupe/gray sheets! I also picked up a little black and white throw for some added texture.

Making Your Bed Every Morning

Climbing into a freshly made bed with crisp sheets is on my top 10 list of life’s little pleasures. It’s one of the BEST feelings after a long day of running around with the kids and working.

I try really hard to make our bed every single morning so we can have that amazing feeling of pulling back the sheets and crawling into a pretty bed at night! This new comforter has been the perfect balance for us, it’s light weight enough for my husband but also heavy enough for me to feel cozy. And I love the little detailed pattern. It’s so subtle you hardly notice it but it also provides some great texture to the bedding.

These sheets are a beautiful 1000 thread count and feel amazing. They are soft but also nice and cool. I went with gray to give the bed a little dimension and blending with all the other warm gray tones in the room. I like the subtle contrast to the stark white duvet.

Master Bedroom Bedding

Our bedroom feels so fresh, clean, modern and cozy all at the same time. I’m so excited to have a fresh look in here for the new year.

I’m also quite certain that I am going to work every day from here! It’s definitely the perfect place to grab that second cup of coffee after school drop off and when I’m getting my to-do list in order for the day.
