Our New Tuft & Needle Mattress

Thanks For Sharing!

It’s been awhile since I’ve had this room up on the blog, huh?! Our little girl’s room hasn’t changed much since we finished it up about two years ago but I have some fun stuff planned for the next few months! First up, mattress upgrade! Today, I’m sharing all the details of our new Tuft & Needle Mattress. This is the first time we have ever used a mattress that arrived rolled up in a box! So how do we like it?

I looooooove it! And PS. don’t tell my daughter that I broke the rules and was jumping on her bed while she was at school :)

Tuft & Needle Mattress Review

Tuft and Needle Mattress Review

Seriously though, this mattress is awesome. I am really impressed with the entire concept of the company. I had a chance to chat with the team and one of the founders at the store opening in Seattle and they have created a super high quality product at a really reasonable price. We’ve done a lot of mattress shopping over the past few years. When we moved into this house and when our kids moved into big kid beds and I’m always shocked at how expensive mattresses can be. This Tuft & Needle Queen mattress prices out at $575 plus there is ALWAYS free shipping if you buy directly from them OR Amazon. This alone saves you huge. I remember one time I thought I found the best deal on a mattress, but when I went to check out the shipping/delivery charges were actually more than the mattress itself. Ugh.

The mattress comes packaged up in a huge box, you unroll it, let it fill up with air and that’s it! The mattress itself is super soft and is made with their T & N Adaptive Foam, they say it captures the best benefits of memory foam and latex while leaving their negative attributes behind.

The pillow they just launched is nice and firm but you also feel the foam in it. My daughter actually prefers to sleep on it without the pillow case because it’s so soft!

Tuft & Needle Protective Sheet

One thing that was really important for me was to have a protective sheet on top of the mattress. Since this the mattress is in a kid’s room, I can pretty much guaratnee there will be water spilled at some point and maybe even a night time accident. I was so happy to find out the they have a great mattress protector that fits their beds perfectly.

This mattress is officially mom approved. I love the price, I love the fabric and I love getting a good night sleep! I’ve snuck in a few sleeps on this mattress and it’s super comfortable. But if you don’t agree, they offer your money back within 100 days and your gently used mattress will be donated to a local charity. How cool is that!?!?

We will be upgrading our  little guys crib mattress to a bunk bed set soon and these are at the top of my list.
