Now onto today’s topic. Silhouettes are often thought of as very victorian or vintage, but I’m here to show you how they can work with any design style. Now let’s talk about bringing silhouettes into YOUR decor!
Recycle old jars into beautiful silhouette vases (Via Craft Tuts)
For a more rustic chic look, turn a piece of wood into silhouette art (via The Merry Thought)
If you like a more subtle approach, try these silhouette coasters (via Missive Etsy Shop)
Etch your family silhouettes into decorative mirrors (via Modern Momma)
These DIY silhouette canvases are personal, modern and fun (via AKA Design)
This silhouette gallery is gorgeous, but the addition of the silhouette on the chair really makes a statement (via Makely School For Girls)
Try this modern approach to a silhouette gallery, the colors and symmetry make this so chic (via Graham Moss)
This silhouette mantel display is gorgeous and can be used year round or easily adapted for different seasons (via Tatertots & Jello)
And with fall months approaching, this silhouette pumpkin would be the perfect way to welcome the new season (via HGTV)
And if you aren’t sure if you are going to like the silhouette trend, just add in a quick throw pillow that can easily be switched out (via CujiCoo)
What about you? What do you define your style as and have you brought any silhouettes into your home?

Happy to see today’s post! While clearing out my mom’s house, I found shilouettes of my four kids and myself that we had done at the state fair years ago! I am remodeling my bathroom and plan on hanging them in there!

Loving it all, gallery wall, individual silhouettes, any of what you featured. There’s so many ways of making them then featuring them inside it’s hard to pick my favorite.
I’ve still to make any but think it’s time. I’ll go thru pics of our kids to see what I can find to make one each of them. Then maybe our dog and cat and even hubs.
I’m pretty thru with Summer already as we have hardly gotten to go to my favorite little state park lake just 7 1/2 miles from our house. Our summer weather has been quite contrary this season so didn’t get to go.
Not too much longer now and we’ll be getting to see Baby #2 and hearing about. I can hardly wait, can only imagine how you must feel. Think there are quite a few of us longing to hear and see your new baby.
Happy days
