I wish it felt like summer around here, but we will have to wait until July. That’s when our real summer weather starts here in Seattle. But from what it sounds like many of you are already enjoying the blissful sunshine and summer vacation!
I know many moms out there are always searching for new activities to do with their kids over the summer months, I know I am! So today, I’m sharing a few fabulous ideas for summer DIY projects and kid’s activities.
Throw a Summer Kick-Off Party to get your kids in the summer spirit! (Via Pumpkin & A Princess)
DIY Lemonade Stand (Via Lil’ Luna)
The Ultimate DIY Sprinkler Maze (Via Classy Clutter)
Adorable “I Am Bored” Jar and Free Printable. Your kids will never be bored again! (Via Shabby Beach Nest)
Create a Summer Bucket List! There are several ways to make these but I love the idea of displaying everything on a chalkboard for everyone to see throughout the summer. (Via Whatever)
Make Your Own Popsicle (Via Dandy Sugar)
Cool off on a hot day with DIY Colored Ice Glass (Via Hurrayic)
DIY Sandbox (Via made)
Turn your patio in a Gameboard (Via 36th Avenue)
And just a note, if you would like to ‘pin’ any of these ideas please take an extra minute and hop on over to the original source. Thanks! :)
Now I’m off to finish painting the Living Room before E wakes up!

I am loving these ideas. I usually just take summer as it rolls, but I think this could be so much fun to do with the kids. My kids and the others on our street. Looking forward to summer fun. Thanks for sharing.
