After 80, yes 80 days since our last full day of sunshine, we finally had our first few sunny days of 2020 here in Seattle! This teeny tiny glimpse of spring has been glorious and has finally gotten me in the mood for some true spring decorating. Today, I’m joining a group of talented home bloggers as we all share spring floral arrangements. I’ll be sharing how I use fresh blooms to create a spring floral table decor.
Spring Floral Table Decor

We had friends over for dinner last weekend and they brought these pretty purple tulips over and they inspired my color palette for the rest of the table. While I’m a neutral girl at heart, I love a good pop of bright pink and purple during this time of year.
Using florals on your table is a quick way to create a fresh look for spring and summer. I wanted to show you how I take grocery store flowers and work them into my table designs.
How To Incorporate Fresh Flowers Into Your Table Design

I start with a very basic table setting, typically in neutral tones so the florals really pop. I picked up this striped table runner at Target this year and thought this was the perfect time to bring it out!

The first step was to add a black pitcher vase filled with the simple tulips. I love how they opened up and spread out to make a really pretty statement piece.

I headed to the grocery store to pick up some more blooms and I found these gorgeous arrangements. I loved the greenery mixed with white flowers and a tiny pop of a deep purple. I love how unique those flowers are.

Instead of using these lanterns for their traditional use, I filled them up with water and turned them into unique vases. I really like how they are unconventional and bring a geometric vibe to the table.

Lastly, I added a few branches to each place setting to tie the whole look together.
Fresh Floral Table Decor

Just added fresh flowers to these simple places and it will brighten up your table! It’s can be so simple.

I like how the flowers carry your eye around the table and create a complete look.

It’s hard to tell from the pics, but the table runner has a small line of pink in it so i added a few pink flowers to pull that blush color in.

Yes, looks lovely! But what do you do with the extra flowers when the people sit down to the meal? Do you have a vase on the side somewhere?
I put them in a little glass vase on the table to keep them fresh!

Always love your tablescapes…stunning. Where did you find your black pitcher?
Oh thank you so much! The black pitcher is from Hobby Lobby
I love the black utensils! Would you mind sharing where you got them? And the best way to wash them? I throw everything in the dishwasher but my copper setting lost their finish that way over the years and I was looking to replace , this look is perfect! Thanks ! ~Alicia
Hi! I got these from ANKO, they are located in the Seattle area but also have online shopping. I throw mine in the dishwasher but I use a microfiber cloth to clean off the water spots before I use them. I primarily only use them for nicer dinners not every day.
I love this! Can you tell me where you bought the napkins and matching ribbon?
Hi! I am so sorry but I can’t remember where the napkins are from, but I believe the Ribbon is from Michaels or JOANN
