If all goes as planned, this will be the last time you see our entry way like this! I can’t believe it’s been over three years since I originally decorated this space. I had a different table here until recently, but for the most part it’s looked like this. Sometimes it’s just nice to change things up and create a whole new look just by making a few changes. Anyway, I digress. Let’s talk about what’s actually happening in today’s post.
Today, I’m sharing our simple summer entry way. I like to keep this space pretty simple so our entry way doesn’t feel overly crowded right when you walk into our home. So decorating for summer stays simple too.
Simple Summer Entry Way
Decorating for summer this year was a little challenging with this guy! Every time I’d put decor on the floor to redecorate he would walk off with something! As the saying goes, good thing he’s cute :)
This vintage carpenters table is such a statement piece that it really doesn’t need much to go with it. The table itself makes a pretty big impact on the design. Along with the oversized mirrors! This is one of those spaces where less really is more. Just a few tropical palm leaves is all I really needed.

Decorating With Tropical Palm Leaves
I typically have a bright white vase here but I recently found this ivory ceramic vase at Hobby Lobby and loved it. I wasn’t planning on changing anything in here but I it’s funny how I now see how this color tone works much much better!
I plan on keeping this carpenters table in here during the mini makeover. I just love it so much and plan on keeping it forever :) But everything else will change. We’ll see how it it turns out. I don’t dislike how it looks now, but I’m ready for a change! I’ll share more on InstaStories as I start the process, but who knows maybe I’ll end up keeping it like this!
