Summer is such a wonderful time for entertaining. Long days, warm nights and tons of great food. I love entertaining, which is why I was so excited when I found out about the opportunity to partner with a few amazing bloggers to show off our summer tablescapes for this year.
I really wish I could say we had found the perfect outdoor dining set for our new Stone Patio, but we are still searching for one that we love. So instead of showing you my Rustic Summer Tablescape outdoors, it’s inside for this year! And don’t forget to scroll down to see some other beautiful table settings from some other fabulous bloggers.
I went with a very Rustic Summer Tablescape this year, it just fits my style more. I even told my husband that if we got married today, I would want something similar to this. Who knows, maybe I can convince him to renew our vows someday so I can do it all over again?! :)
I chose a khaki colored linen tablecloth paired with white cloth napkins that were folded under white Crate & Barrel plates. And on each place setting is a single lime to add a glimpse of color while still keeping it focused on nature.
The centerpiece is a single piece of wood that I stained Rustoleum Dark Walnut and spray painted an old lantern that I had in the garage white to make a focal point in the center.
Then I placed white candles and recycled jars filled with white hydrangeas down the center. I grow the hydrangeas in my back yard and I love filling my house with them for the few months they are in bloom!
Simple, neutral and full of texture. This is my style to a t.

This is beautiful…your hydrangeas are fabulous. I just bought my first plant and am hoping for some blooms. Not sure if I will have to wait until next year at this point.
