I told you I wouldn’t be going away completely over the next few weeks, did you believe me?! While I won’t be going all out with fall decor this year, I couldn’t help but put together a little fall vignette to help satisfy my need for decorating for my favorite season. Since I haven’t been venturing out of the house much these days, I needed to use things that I already had on hand and this is what I came up with!
Here is my Rustic Fall Vignette for this year! What do you think? Not too bad for free, right?
I actually don’t like to spend a lot on seasonal decor anyway because I like to put my money towards bigger projects in the house. So when it comes to seasonal decorating, I generally walk around my house and see what I can ‘borrow’ from other rooms. This is just another example of that.
The metal cases, chalkboard and basket are all from our family room, all of the pumpkins are from my fall decor box that I’ve had for years and the sign I made from scrap wood laying in my garage.
And over here, this amazing piece I just received from my grandma (along with some other cool things). My grandparents recently sold their home and they have been giving me some of their beautiful vintage pieces including this apple sauce maker.
I’m so excited to finally have some fall decor up around my home! I am hoping to get to a few more things too :)

HI Taryn, good to see you’re alive and well. Hope new baby is doing great, getting any sleep? Sure hope so. And the rest of yours also. You must be falling more and more in love with your new little guy. What a wonderful miracle he is, they all are, so very precious.
I had an apple sauce maker from KY but like the idiot I am when we bought this place I got rid of so many of my old incredible vintage pieces. How exceptionally wonderful that your Grandmother gave you that and whatever else. I’m very envious. Please be smarter than I was, don’t ever get rid of it for whatever reason. I love those pieces. The stories they could tell. Love your fall arrangement, fun to shop the house isn’t it? See things in a whole new light. Happy weekend

Oh, this is a lovely, natural look. I like your three white pumpkins below the FALL sign. I’m seeing white pumpkins everywhere this season. I’m visiting from Our Sunday Best link party.

Looks great! I have the same mentality I try to borrow from other spaces to decorate or make things out of items I already have. I think you sign is my favorite.
