I always think it’s fun when I’m able to get a better glimpse into what bloggers are like in real life. While the project posts and home tours are fun, it’s nice to get the know the person behind the blog. In the past I’ve shared 20 Things About Me and another 20, but it’s been awhile since I’ve done any sort of Q&A on the blog.
I recently had the opportunity to be interviewed my Porch.com, an amazing online resource where homeowners can find the right professionals, get inspired, and manage their homes.
I’m sharing Part 1 on the interview here, and you can read the rest of the interview on Porch.com, just click the link at the bottom of the post!
If your life were a song, what would it be? Don’t Stop Believin’ by Journey
Pinterest or Facebook? Pinterest, hands down.
If your walls could only be painted one color for the rest of your life, what would they be and why? Gray. I’m a sucker for neutrals and I love a good greige. It goes with both warm and cool tones and it looks so chic.
What are you exceptionally good at? (Permission to brag) Hmmm. I’d probably say I’m good at thinking outside the box. I’m not afraid to use unconventional materials in my home and I always like to put my little twist on things.
What’s the weirdest thing you’ve collected? When I was a little girl, I had a rock collection. In fact, I think it’s still at my parents’ house.
What gets you in to the holiday spirit? Holiday movies, decorating our home, making cookies with the kids, and our annual family tree hunt!
What’s a home trend you hope doesn’t exist in 100 years? Teal green carpet from the 80’s. That needs to remain in history, forever :)
