Let’s face it, once you hit your 30’s and especially after having three kids, swim suit shopping just isn’t the same as it was when you were 18. I’m sure many of you can relate… at least I hope I’m not the only one! Over the last year or so I’ve been on the hunt for some cute and reasonably priced women’s swim suits that I feel comfortable in and don’t fall a part! Harder than it may seem. I see so many discount swim suit sites being advertised everywhere from Facebook to Amazon and I decided to take a chance and see if they were worth it. After a lot of trial and errors, I’ve discovered some brands I really like, that fit well and are good quality so I thought I’d share some of my finds with you and give some honest opinions. PS. this post isn’t sponsored at all, I just wanted to share some of my favorite suits as I know it can be a hard task with summer approaching!
My Favorite Reasonably Priced Women’s Swim Suits
I’ve had really good luck with the Cupshe brand! I think all of their suits are adorable and unique and you can find a lot of cute modest ones from them too! They all run right around $20-$25 which I think is a total steal. I dress just like I decorate and I typically stay in the neutral tones with some pops of pink and navy, don’t be surprised. This black and white striped one piece has the perfect pop of color and cute little peep hole. I feel totally comfortable wearing this while running after my kids on the beach! Speaking of running, I picked up these sandals at Nordstrom Rack before spring break and they will be my go-to sandals this summer!
The top is what drew me to this blue patterned two-piece. I love the modest fit and the razor back. The only thing I will say is that it runs extreeeeemly small. I would go at least two sizes up. And I’m always looking for comfy coverups that are easy to throw on. I picked this one up at Old Navy this year for just $9.99! It’s sold out, but here is a similar one that’s on sale.
Ok, so this is my favorite new suit of the year! The color is sort of a periwinkle, a little out of my comfort zone but I really like this suit. The bottoms aren’t a true high waist, but they are higher than your average bikini bottoms. They hit right below my belly button so it’s a nice happy-medium when it comes to coverage. And the top is so cute on.
Cute and Modest Swim Suits
I can never get enough black and white stripes and this high waisted suit is a winner. I didn’t think I would be a fan of high waisted suits, but let me tell you I LOOOOOVE them. They are the perfect suit for ‘holding everything in’, I especially love them when I’m out with the kids. They are still a cute two-piece but I feel so much more comfortable in them. I also like to mix and match my suit and I wear these with a black halter top I’ve had for awhile. Love. I found this adorable top at Target last summer but the bottoms were all sold out. I bought the top anyway because I love the more modest front and the cute details in the back. Good thing I snagged it when I did because I found the bottoms this year and completed the set! I went up a size in the bottoms because I was worried about them getting a little too ‘cheeky’. Just personal preference. And lastly let’s get a little patriotic. You can’t beat the price of this suit, it’s just $16! I love the little scallop details and the high waisted bottoms. I’ve also been eyeing this one, and this one, and this one. But I think I’m set for now :)
