Do you ever feel like you get stuck in the same ole rut when it comes to snack time and lunch time? There are times when I keep buying the same things out of habit instead of getting creative with other healthy foods. As of late, I’ve been on a mission to introduce some new and exciting foods to Miss E and spice up our snack time and time. Today, I thought I’d show you a really quick and easy dish we’ve been putting together. These Hummus Turkey Wraps are quickly becoming a household favorite.
Ingredients:
– White Bean Hummus (I’ve also made these with Roasted Red Pepper Hummus and I like that alot too!)
– Provolone Cheese
– Fresh Oven Roasted Turkey
– Sliced Red Peppers
Start by taking a piece of cheese and spreading a good amount of hummus throughout.
Then place a few slices of shaved turkey on top.
And lastly, add a few red pepper slices for a little crunch.
Wrap them up and you have a really delicious and healthy snack. And believe it or not, but Miss E LOVES these! Peppers are now one of her favorite foods :)
Do you make anything similar for your family? I’m always on the search for some quick and easy ideas.
This morning I pinned this before seeing your blog post! Can’t wait to try this in my lunch sometime soon! :)
That looks really good Taryn. I usually do a breakfast wrap with eggs, cheese & skillet fried potatoes. Sometimes I do peanut butter with apple butter on a tortilla – the kids love it.
Looks really yummy!

This looks so yummy! Since I eat largely gluten free, I am always on the lookout for gluten free sandwich options, this is perfect. I pinned it!
Looks like a nice light meal, perfect as the weather heats up. Thanks for sharing!
