I must admit, it’s a pretty surreal feeling when you get an email from the team at Better Homes and Gardens inviting you to be part of their new program, The Live Better Network. Me? Seriously? Well, of course I said YES! While jumping up and down and wondering if this was in fact real. And it was.
A few weeks ago BHG flew me out to their headquarters in Des Moines, Iowa for Better Homes and Gardens Style Showcase. And here is a little peek…
During the one day event we were shown some of the most popular products already in Walmart stores and also given a peek into the hottest trends coming to stores for spring. Naturally my eye was instantly drawn to these neutral pieces that are full of character and texture. I seriously cannot believe they are all being sold at Walmart for incredible prices!

The team styled two different bedrooms for us that really showcase the different use of the product line. I am absolutely in love with that nailhead headboard! And those black mirrors? Only $24 each.
The second bedroom was really fun. I loved the gray tones mixed with black. And what a great idea for that storage bench.
And with the holidays coming up, it’s never too early to start thinking about gift ideas. They have so many cool containers that you can use to create your own gift baskets and fill with these products that are only $10-$20.
You can never have too much organization in the kitchen. I personally love these storage containers with the fancy tops. I
Not only were all the new products fun to see, but it was such an amazing experience to tour the BHG headquarters and get a peek at all the fun things that go on behind the scenes. We were able to see an editorial shoot being set up and see their many prop rooms (swoon).
Then we ventured outside and relaxed a little on the outdoor furniture and took a peaceful walk through the BHG test garden.
I wish more than anything that I could maintain a garden like this. It was enchanting and so beautiful. If you live near by it’s open to the public for a few hours every Friday! Highly recommend checking it out!
Meeting the Deputy Food Editor, Nancy Hopkins, was such treat. Seriously a wonderful woman to learn from. And taking a class from Eddie Ross, woah. He is so fun and so talented.
Aside from all the fun with BHG and Walmart, getting a chance to meet and hang out with some of my favorite bloggers was the cherry on top. Late night chats and fun at the Iowa State Fair. SO FUN!

I can’t wait to share some of the decor projects I have in the works! You all are going to LOVE this line. So be sure to keep an eye out next time you are at Walmart.
You are darling! xoxo, MISS YOU!
Miss you more! Hopefully we can see each other again soon :)
It was so nice to meet you! I hope to see more of you soon!
What a fun trip! Ooooh, I love the garden too. x
