Whole30 Salads In A Jar

Thanks For Sharing!

This post is sponsored by Ball® Home Canning; however, all thoughts and opinions are my own.

Now that you are stuffed on holiday cookies, eggnog and ham, it’s time to do a little detox and get back on track, am I right? But seriously, how many of you do this? I have talked about it before on here and on Instagram, but I am a big Whole30® fan. Every time I do the 30 day eating plan I feel a million times better, so much more energy, less bloated and I don’t mind shedding a few of those cookie pounds.

Today on the blog I wanted to share one of my favorite salad recipes with you and some tips for meal prepping when you want to eat healthy and stick to a plan. So let’s chat Whole30® Salads In A Ball® Jar!

Whole30® Salads In A Jar

Get back to healthy in the New Year, kick off healthy habits with Whole 30 Salads In A Jar. Meal prep is key for staying on track with a healthy lifestyle.

One of the hardest parts of doing Whole30® for me is the time it takes to make meals. I am such a grab and go person with how busy we are all time and it’s hard to eat healthy when you are always running. That’s why meal prep is key for me. It makes SUCH a huge difference.

Meal Prep Is Key

Whole 30 salad recipe which is great for on the go and prepping ahead of time!

Prepping my meals ahead of time has been a really big part of my success in making it the whole 30 days. I love eating salads for lunch and it helps me to have them pre-made so all I have to do is dump them on a plate or just eat them out of a Ball® jar on the go!

  • Add Chicken for more protein!

I like to layer my salads in Ball® jars, so I put lettuce down first, then the berries and nuts and then add additional lettuce on top. This makes about 3 jars for me!

TIP: If you are prepping soup or other liquids, you can also get the leak proof Ball® Jar lids or the smaller 4oz jars.

Seal the Ball® Jars and then place them in the fridge for the week! If you are worried about the avocado browning, mine do very well in the sealed jars. I only noticed a teeny tiny bit of browning but they held up really well.

When you are ready to eat, throw it all on a plate and add some black pepper and your dressing. This is when I would add my protein too if I need more for the day.

Delish! One of my favorites.
