I’m always looking for easy snack ideas or appetizers! Whether it’s for an after school snack or a party dish, time is always of the essence when you are a busy mom with little kids. This weekend I made a batch of these super easy and delicious Turkey and Cheese Crescent Rolls and they were a hit with the family.
Easy Turkey and Cheese Crescent Rolls
These took about 5 minutes to whip up and cooked for an additional 15 minutes and my kids loved helping me make them. One roll is 1 serving.
Easy Turkey and Cheese Crescent Rolls – Ingredients:
Slow Roasted Turkey*
Shredded Cheese
*I made these with turkey since that’s my kids’ favorite, but Oscar Mayer Selects Natural is also available in four other flavorful varieties including Applewood Smoked Turkey, Rotisserie Seasoned Chicken, Applewood Smoked Ham and Slow Roasted Roast Beef. You could switch out any of these meats in this recipe!
I set up my little station with turkey, cheese and my unrolled crescent dough. I put two slices of turkey inside, with about 1 Tbsp of cheese.
Then rolled them up! Oscar Mayer Selects Natural is the perfect choice for anyone looking for quality cold cuts that have no artificial ingredients and delicious taste. Which makes these a perfect after school snack for the kids!
I preheated the oven to 375 degrees and baked the turkey and cheese crescent rolls for about 13-15 minutes, until the top was golden brown.
They taste best right out of the oven, but you could also reheat them too!

These looked so yummy, but when I tried making them the dough was raw and didn’t cook all the way through, even after I put them back in the over :( Any thoughts?
Taryn says
Hi! I’m so sorry you are having issues. My only other thought is to maybe try them at a higher temp or not put as much turkey in?
Momtwotwins says
Or to check your ovens temp with an oven thermometer
Sherry says
Mine did he same thing. I think I rolled to much dough inside, more dough wrapped on the outside I think will work. I made 4 my first try,
second 4 on the way!!
Samantha says
How should these be reheated?
Taryn Whiteaker says
When heating them up for my kids at lunch I placed them in the microwave for about 5-7 seconds.

I can’t wait to make these for dinner! What would you put together to go with it to make a meal?
Carolyn says
I will serve with salad and a green veggie or maybe carrots.
Justine says
Would they be any good frozen and reheated?
Kathie says
I can’t wait to try these. Going to the company website to check out their other products.

Hi, I’m going to try make these in the next few days but I can’t seem to find crescent rolls. I’m not sure if they are branded a different way here in the U.K. Can you let me know if there is a brand you use so I can look out for it in the supermarket? Is there another type of pastry I can use?
Taryn Whiteaker says
Hi! The most common brand is Pillsbury, http://amzn.to/2ivvNHh (aff)

We just had these for dinner! I used reduced fat crescent rolls, ham, turkey, and slices of cheese (provolone and cheddar). YUM! They were a little under cooked inside though, so next time I’m going to cook them for longer at 350. They were very brown on top. Hubby and son both loved them. :)
Alysha says
How long do you think these will last for ? I m going to try these with my picky eater toddler, however I know it’ll only be one roll at a time!
Ivory says
I am not hungry, but these look mouthwatering. Yummy!
Kylie says
These were delicious BUT the dough in the center was really undercooked. Opened them up a bit and put them back in the oven but not sure I would try this again.
Jen says
Could these be frozen and reheated?
Taryn Whiteaker says
I have personally never tried to freeze them before so I can’t for sure. But I have heard other people doing it.
Melissa says
Can I pack these in a school lunch, or do they need to be served warm? And if so, how long can they last in the fridge? Thanks in advance! These look absolutely delicious!
Bonnie Herzog says
How do you keep the cheese from melting out of the croissant?
Sara Lyn Stevens says
I cooked these in the air fryer at 340° for 7 mins and they were perfect. So tasty!
