In July, Miss E and I went on our first adventure to one of the American Girl ® Events. We had so much fun that we decided to go again! American Girl is such a great place to take your little one on a mom/daughter outing and guess what, most of the events are actually FREE!
Every time we head to the store, my daughter insists on getting dressed up. It’s so adorable. She has to put on her fancy dress do her hair and accessorize. Then we are ready to go! (that in itself is an event!)
The first thing my daughter wants to do is browse through all the doll clothes and look at each item carefully. Deciding which one she wants to put on her Christmas list this year (yes, we plan that far ahead). Then we like to check out the events going on that day. This day, American Girl set up an Ankle Bracelet Making Station and that was definitely a hit.
I love how a lot of their events are not only free, but really cater to a younger audience. They are easy to understand, take no time at all the complete (which is great for a 3 year old with a short attention span) and are super casual. Generally come and go as you please.
Miss E made herself and her Samantha doll a sweet little floral bracelet. It was the talk of the day, for sure.
American Girl has events going on through the rest of the summer and even into the fall. So be sure to check out your local store and see which ones are available for you to attend! I guarantee your little one will love it!
