Preparing For Baby #2 With Rubbermaid

Thanks For Sharing!

Disclosure: This shop is part of a social shopper marketing insight campaign with Pollinate Media Group™ and Home Depot & Rubbermaid, but all my opinions are my own. #pmedia #AllAccessOrganizers.

All Access Organizers

I’m officially due in 6 weeks and 3 days with baby #2 and I‘m getting into a full panic nesting mode. I still have SO much to do including moving Miss E out of the nursery and into her new big girl room. I am so behind on getting the room ready, we have had such a fun and busy summer (can’t complain) but I still have so much to do.

As I make room for this new little family member to enter our home, I’ve been realizing how important organization is. In our 1,700 sq. foot home we may have enough living space for all of us, but we lack storage space. So for us, it all comes down to organization.

Over the past 2 years, I’ve kept a canvas bin in the bottom of Miss E’s closet where I toss clothes she’s grown out of. Once the bin is full I sort the clothes and then pack them away for the next baby. Buuuuut I’ve apparently been lacking in this area because this is what the bin looked like when I pulled it out this week. Eeeeek! You literally can’t even see the bin any more.

As I sorted through the clothes I realized that I hadn’t gone through the bottom of her closet since last September, what?! Yes my friends, I was sorting through 24M-2T clothing and my daughter is currently in 3T. That tells you how organized I’ve been lately.

After going through the clothes, I picked up two Rubbermaid All Access Organizers from Home Depot to help keep the clothes organized. I chose a small organizer and a large organizer that stack perfectly together.

I love how I can stack these bins in the garage and as Miss E grows out of more 2T clothes I can easily open the front door and place the clothes in the bin without having to taken them down. This is so brilliant considering I’m always trying to get things out of various bins in our garage and I can’t lift the heavy ones by myself. These are going to make my life so much easier.

And to top things off, I used my Silhouette to create some decorative vinyl labels, which makes them even easier to recognize. Just look at the label, pull down the clear door and organize. Yes!

All Access Before and After

Now here is a little before and after action. These All Access Organizers are actually really awesome. I love the accessibility and how they securely stack together. They are great for closets, garages, play rooms, just about anything!

I love this idea! Is there any possibility that you would be able to include the link to a printable for the labels?

I have been looking for ways of organizing my fabric. I think these will do just the trick! At least they are better than the cardboard boxes I am using now!
