Even thought we haven’t even had a spring yet, I have summer on my mind! We have already been planning our summer activities, parties and outdoor projects. What about you? Are you throwing a bit summer kick off party? Flamingos, unicorns and pineapples seem to be all the rage right now, I see them EVERY where. If you are wanting to throw a really chic summer themed party I’m showing you a bunch of cute Pineapple Party Ideas here on the blog! .
When throwing a big party, I love to do one big display with food, decor and more that really transform our home! I love walking into a house and being greeted with a beautiful display or party decor, that way you are instantly welcomed with fun!
For this event, I transformed our entry way into this boho inspired pineapple party display. One of the first things i do when planning a party is head to Michaels. And I’m not just saying that because I worked with them on this post!
Whether you’re looking for fun décor, bright blooms, or cute party supplies, Michaels has everything you need to MAKE summer fun!
They have such a large range of party supplies and this year they have two lines just for flamingos and pineapples!!!! Seriously guys, so much good stuff.
Cupcakes are a must at any party! I love these gold cupcakes liners and adorable pineapple toppers. And to add a little something to the table, I made these chocolate leaves using Wilton melting chocolates and a leaf mold. My kids LOVED these!
So much of a party display is the additional decor that you add. I found almost everything here at Michaels. I love the big trees, leaves, the pillows (that would look great on your back patio after the party) and those white garden stools are SUCH a great price. A to of this stuff you can use in your home after the party!
The banner is supposed to say “Party Like A Pineapple”. I purchased the white and gold bunting at Michaels all pre-made and then added the letters.
I love how our entry way turned into this tropical and chic display! I mayyyyybe even kept some of it up for my summer decor this year… stay tuned on that!
