Organizing Paint Cans

Thanks For Sharing!

Alright, so today’s post is nothing fancy but sometimes we need to set aside the pretty pictures and get a little behind the scenes! Now, let’s talk organization. I’ll be the first to admit I need a little help in this area. When I’m flying through 5 different projects a day and jumping from one thing to the next things can get a little crazy.

Easy Way To Organize Paint

Cleaning and Organizing Paint Cans

SO… when the time came for me to clean up the old paint cans at our old home I was a little terrified. Let’s just say it took me a few hours to go through them all. Yes, that many. Anyway, I wanted to leave all the paint cans behind that matched the colors I used in the house but they looked awful. So I ended up Organizing Paint Cans using $2 cans from the hardware store and chalkboard labels.

Use Quart Paint Cans and Chalkboard Labels to organize your paint collection.

Most of my paint was either almost gone or was enough to fit into a few quart cans. So that’s the size I used. You can pick them up on Amazon for just $1.75 each. And those fun chalkboard labels, you can buy those for just $8 for 24 labels.

And what I love most, is that once you use all the paint, you can just rinse out the can and change the label.

Easy and inexpensive organization project for just a few bucks.

And now that we have some clean-up work out of the way, tomorrow I’ll be back with a new project :)

Great idea! So simple, but yet so effective in organizing. I bet the new owners of the house just loved it! :) Thanks for the great tip!
