The Holiday season is in full force. Thanksgiving is next Thursday, then Christmas is just a few weeks away. Eeek! During this time of year I’m always looking for fun and easy gifts for hostess, neighbors, friends, teachers, well just about everyone! I find that the best gifts to receive in those situations are ones that you can eat (or am I the only one that thinks that?!).
Today, It thought I’d share a quick edible gift idea for those special people in your life. These Chocolate Almond Clusters packaged in a homemade gift box (or store bought one) will definitely be a hit.
These little treats are so easy to make. You can whip up a whole batch in no time and have all of your gifts taken care of for the season.
I used my Silhouette Cameo (using this download) to make my homemade gift boxes for this delicious chocolates, but you can just as easily pick up simple brown paper gift boxes at the craft store or online.
Oh so delicious! And not too bad for you either, right?
All these little clusters consist of is allergy friendly chocolate (free of eggs, wheat, dairy and soy), raw almonds, almond butter and vanilla.
Melt the chocolate, almond butter and vanilla together in a sauce pan with the burner on low. Once melted site in the almonds until coated and then spoon the clusters onto freezer paper.
Stick them in the freezer for one hour and then they are good to go!
Enjoy!
- 1 10 oz. package of Enjoy Life Chocolate Chips (These are allergy friendly, but you could easily make them with regular chocolate chips)
- 2 Cups of Raw Almonds
- 1/2 Cup Almond Butter
- 1/2 tsp. Vanilla
- Melt the chocolate chips, almond butter, and vanilla in a sauce pan on low heat. Once creamy, stir in the almonds.
- Line a cookie sheet with freezer paper and place spoonfuls of the mixtures onto the paper.
- Place in freezer for 1 hour.
- Ready to eat!

This is one of my husbands favorite treats. I normally go to the candy store and buy a box, but you have inspired me to try your delicious sounding recipe. I have pinned this and will be giving it a go.
Thanks for sharing,
