We’re on the tail end of our summer family vacation, and we’re not ready to give it up! Long before moving to Texas, I have always wanted to visit 30a Florida. We finally made it happen and have been staying in Seagrove, just minutes front the white sandy beaches. It’s truly been a dream come true to take our kids here and have them play in the warm ocean. I LOVE planning vacations and with that comes a ton of research and finding the perfect beach hacks and gear to make our life easier and our kids entertained. My Favorite Waterproof Beach Bags
Bogg Beach Bag | Yeti Tote Bag
These are my go-to bags year round. The Yeti Tote Bag was my Mother’s Day gift years ago and it is still my most used bag no matter the season. When we lived in Washington, I used it for winter gear, sports games in the rain, beach boots, muddy gear etc. Now, in the summer I use it for all our summer gear; packing towels, beach toys, anything and everything. It’s easy to rinse the sand out since they are both waterproof.
The Bogg Beach Bag is the current trendy beach bag. Our real estate agent gifted us this one when we moved into our new house and I am pretty sure everyone in the south has one. These are great because they are waterproof, light weight and you can toss them in the car.
Beach Hacks
Don’t you hate it when you try to check your phone and it is so dang bright you can’t see a thing? With this cute little Mini Phone Umbrella, it makes it so much easier! I saw a mom at the baseball fields have one of these and I thought it was brilliant. I simply clip it onto my phone and it blocks the sunshine – I can actually see what I’m doing when I need to make a call or catch up for a second.

These Beach Cup Holders are so useful! They can hold a large cup and have a compartment for your phone. No more worrying about sand getting in your charging port or having to dig through your bag to find it! It keeps your belongings safely in one convenient spot. These are a must-have for any sandy trip you have planned this summer!
Beach Toys For The Whole Family

Bringing some beach toys is a great way to break up water time. The kids (and let’s be honest, the adults too!) have loved chasing after the frisbee or lacrosse ball with our family. These are both compact items that fit perfectly into my beach bag.
Favorite Snorkel Mask
The kids love this Snorkel Mask! It’s so much better than a traditional mask. They all have said these re their favorite kind we’ve used to far, they are really easy to use and they can even breath under water. Thankfully, we haven’t seen any sharks during the trip (so far)!
